Philadelphia Postal Worker

The American Postal Workers Union (APWU) represents over
300,000 Clerk, Motor Vehicle, Maintenance and other employees of the United States Postal Service.

The Philadelphia Area Local of the APWU represents more than
2,500 workers at Philadelphia's main post office and stations, the Philadelphia Air Mail Center, and the Elkins Park and Bristol post offices.

The APWU, an affiliate of the AFL-CIO, is the largest postal union
in the world, and the Philadelphia Local is one of the largest locals
in the APWU.

The APWU is among the nation's leading unions and has one of the best nationally negotiated contracts in terms of job security and benefits.

The Philadelphia Local has always been in the forefront of the APWU. In keeping with that tradition, we are proud to be among the first APWU locals on the World Wide Web.
